Hokkaido University’s brand new Veterinary Teaching Hospital opens

Hokkaido University’s brand new Veterinary Teaching Hospital is now open.  The new building replaces the old veterinary teaching hospital which is located adjacent and features cutting edge treatment facilities such as a linear accelerator (linac) used in cancer therapy, CT and MRI scanning, an ICU and numerous operating theaters.


Students will benefit greatly from the new facility by directly utilizing the equipment, observing operations from the surgery viewing room and learn from some of the best and brightest professionals in Japan. For more information on the facility, feel free to contact syomu@vetmed.hokudai.ac.jp
