The workshop aims at initiating an academic exchange between Research Institute for Electronic Science (RIES), Hokkaido University and the Institute of Physics (IOP), Academia Sinica. Just before the workshop, these two institutes will sign a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on academic exchange. The eight researchers from Academia Sinica including Professor Ting-Kuo Lee, the director of IOP, will discuss future collaboration in various academic areas. The workshop is also held as a Top-Collaboration Support Project Workshop. |
