New COVID-19 Case Confirmed at Hokkaido University


Hokkaido University confirmed a new COVID-19 case among its students on Saturday, August 1, 2020. The information has been collected at first hand that the diagnosed student has not set foot on campus since 2 days before the onset of COVID-19 symptoms.


A local Public Health Office has identified no close contacts to this student within the HU community.


We wish a rapid recovery for the student while committing ourselves to safeguarding our university community from COVID-19 outbreaks.
