New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed at Hokkaido University

Hokkaido University confirmed two new COVID-19 cases among its students on Friday, October 9, 2020. We conducted contact tracing within the University community by determining the date and time spent, and places visited by the students on campus. Those identified as close contacts are now placed in self-quarantine (no admittance to campus) and health monitoring for 14 days from the last date of exposure.

We wish a rapid recovery for the students while committing ourselves to safeguarding our University community from COVID-19 outbreaks.
