The 6th Nobuo Ayukawa Award

Casio Abe, an Associate Professor who gives lectures on cinematography and cultural expression theory in our Graduate School of Letters, won the 6th Nobuo Ayukawa Award for his poetry anthology Kanyu Shigaku (Metonymic Poetry), published by Shichosha.


The Nobuo Ayukawa Award recognizes outstanding poetry anthologies and poetry essay collections that offer insightful commentary on the current age.

Associate Professor Abe’s anthology was selected from 122 submitted and nominated anthologies and essay collections published between January 1 and December 31, 2014, the period of eligibility for the 6th award.
