Seven Hokkaido University researchers received prestigious MEXT awards

The Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan (MEXT) grants awards in the field of science and technology every year. Based on recommendations, the prestigious awards are granted to researchers in Japan who have made remarkable contributions in research, development, and the promotion of science and technology.


In a ceremony held on April 6, 2021, seven Hokkaido University researchers received this year’s Commendation for Science and Technology from the Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, Koichi Hagiuda. The seven recipients are as follow:
