For educators in Japan, teaching in English requires a combination of language proficiency, cultural competency, adaptability, and interpersonal skills. This seminar highlights the challenges and opportunities of using English as a medium of instruction (EMI). It provides participants with practical strategies and ideas to support students’ teaching practice. It will also be an opportunity to discuss changes in Japanese higher education in response to internationalization.
