USA Corporate Visit in Silicon Valley

This is a special event targeted for doctoral course students and postdocs.
Would you like to give a presentation of your research topic or business plan to the corporate laboratories or venture accelerators in Silicon Valley? I-HoP will host a group tour from February 10th through the 15th, 2019, taking five postdocs or doctoral course students of Hokkaido University to the laboratories of Japanese companies and venture accelerators in Silicon Valley. All transportation and hotel accommodation expenses will be on us (but please complete your visa/ESTA requirements). The tour will be conducted all in English.
Itinerary
2/10 (Sun.) – 2/15 (Fri.) 4 nights 6 days
2/10 Travel from Sapporo to San Francisco
2/11~2/13 Company and venture capital visits
2/14 Company and university visits
2/15 Arrive back in Sapporo
You will need to prepare a 7-minute PowerPoint presentation at each site about your research, business idea, etc. followed by a 7-minute Q&A.

Important Information
You must have a passport valid for more than 90 days after the departure.
If you qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, you must apply for authorization though the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) on your own. If you don’t qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, you must obtain a visa on your own. These expenses must be paid by on your own.
