Museum of Fisheries Sciences

The Museum of Fisheries Sciences is located within Hokkaido University’s Hakodate Campus. A must see for those interested in marine life, the museum has a large collection of weird and wonderful specimens on display - all collected over years of field research work by students and faculty. The museum is committed to collecting, classifying, educating as well as publishing all items to broaden public awareness and actively promote sustainable and environmental usage of our oceans.
