Otaru

Otaru is a city located around 25 minutes by car from Sapporo. The sea side city faces Ishikari Bay, and has long served as a port. The historical buildings and quaint shops all centered around a picture perfect canal give Otaru an unmistakable romantic vibe, and it’s the perfect spot for a day trip with so much to see and do.
