When I was asked to become a HU Ambassador I was not surprised because I have been involved in different joint projects with Hokkaido University for more than 25 years. At the same time I feel honored to become a HU Ambassador. HU is one of the best higher education institutions in Japan.
Within these 25 years I took part in a joint research project titled “Endogenous development and training in Japan, Italy and Russia” (1992-1996), the RJE-3 training program (2014-2019) and some other projects. I have been in charge of international relations at Sakhalin State University (SSU) for nearly 20 years, so it’s quite natural for me to pay attention to public activities aimed at strengthening friendly relations between SSU and HU.
As a HU Ambassador I have more opportunities to support all joint programs, meaningful events, and student and faculty exchange. I’ll do my best to contribute to HU’s high achievements and prosperity not only in Japan, but also globally.
Now I’d like to welcome all members of the HU Ambassador and Partner program. Let’s be ambitious together!
