HUA Professor Emeritus Yasushi Takeda (ETH Zurich) Gives a Lecture at the Meeting for HU and JSPS Alumni Association in Europe

On March 1^st, 2019, the HU Alumni Association in Europe held a meeting and get-together with the Finland Alumni Association of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) in Helsinki. At the event, HU Ambassador Professor Emeritus Yasushi Takeda (ETH Zurich) gave a lecture. His lecture examined the difference between “Science” and “Technology” over the long span from prehistoric times to the present.

2019 marks the 100th anniversary of the Japan-Finland diplomatic relationship. The HU Helsinki office will make an effort to promote the exchanges between HU and the universities in Europe including Finland, and also plan meeting opportunities for Alumni Association members and HUAPs living in Europe.
