Sustainability and Ecology Seminar Talks

Two speakers will be joining us on February 20th to talk about sustainability and ecology around the globe. In association with Hokkaido University’s Nitobe College and as one our partners (read about the Ambassador and Partner System here), Dr. Ricardo Mata-Gonzales, Associate Professor of the Department of Animal and Rangeland Sciences at Oregon State University, will be speaking on “Research, Education and Ecology: Diversity is the Spice of Life”. Afterwards, Dr. Rashid Sumalia, Professor of the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries at the University of British Columbia and one of Hokkaido University’s ambassadors, will be presenting on the topic of “What is Sustainability under Global Warming”.
