Fond memories of my time in the Faculty of Law at Hokkaido University.
I was first a joshu then a lecturer (kõshi) in the Faculty of Law, 1994-1996, and it was during this time that I conducted research for my book The People’s Emperor, which has been widely read by Japanese.
I would especially like to encourage exchange programs between PSU and HU, involving both students and faculty.
Hokkaido University is a special place–keep it that way!
