Hokkaido University Guidebook
The Hokkaido University Guidebook is an annual publication consisting of a compilation of facts and figures about Hokkaido University, including information on our organizational structure, facilities, faculties and academic offerings. It is intended mainly to help those unfamiliar with the University gain some understanding of what we offer, but also provides fresh insight to those already associated with us.

The Sustainability Report is a comprehensive, annual report covering what should be included in an environmental report as well as sustainability initiatives of the University. The Report includes not only data and initiatives related to environmental impact reduction, but also covers articles on the University’s history, culture, social relations, student projects, and other content with a sustainability perspective.

The Hokkaido University Short-Term Exchange Program (HUSTEP) is an exchange program designed to provide students from affiliated universities with the opportunity to study for either half of or one full year in Japan at Hokkaido University – in English.

Japanese Language and Culture Studies Program (JLCSP) Guide
Want to come as an exchange student to study Japanese?
The JLCSP is a program that aims to provide undergraduate students from overseas universities who are studying Japanese language or culture as a major or sub-major with the opportunity to improve their Japanese language proficiency. Students take course on culture, language, and even applied linguistics. This is your chance to gain fluency.
