The Co-op cafeterias on campus offer nutritious meals at low prices, with some locations featuring Halal options to accommodate diverse dietary needs. These cafeterias provide an excellent opportunity for students and visitors to enjoy affordable, healthy meals while experiencing the vibrant campus atmosphere.

Coop University Dining

There are many Co-op cafeterias on campus all offering nutritious foods at low prices. You can either pay for your meal in cash or purchase a pre-paid meal card to use these cafeterias. The meal card is like a season ticket for all Co-op cafeterias. Some cafeterias also feature a Halal menu.

Cafe de Gohan

Cafe de Gohan is just a 7-minute walk from Sapporo Station. Amid the seasonal natural beauty of the Hokkaido University campus, visitors can enjoy a wide variety of dishes from morning to dinner. On-campus delivery is also available for light meals and boxed lunches. Right next door is the Hokkaido University Original Shop, offering a great selection of souvenirs, from food items to merchandise.

Hokudai Marche Café & Labo

Hokudai Marché Café & Labo is a restaurant, located just a one-minute walk from the main gate of Hokkaido University. It serves as a place that connects the bountiful products of Hokkaido University with its visitors. “Hokkaido University Milk,” produced at a farm within the campus, is processed in the on-site dairy workshop, offering fresh dairy products to enjoy.

Hokudai Marché Café & Labo has three distinct elements: a restaurant, an on-site marché, and dairy product manufacturing. The restaurant focuses on providing delicious ways to enjoy Hokkaido University Milk and its homemade dairy products, the on-site marché allows visitors experience the terroir of Hokkaido, and the dairy product manufacturing is dedicated to creating products that preserve the natural taste of Hokkaido University Milk.
