The introductory Japanese curriculum will be renewed from the first semester of 2026.
We will offer more weekly classes that are fun to learn. Beginners in Japanese are also welcome!

Eligibility

• International students enrolled at Hokkaido University with a student visa
• Teaching staff, research staff, and office workers who work at Hokkaido University

Application

Placement Test Period

Friday, March 6 – Thursday, March 26

(Students who have taken this Japanese course at Hokkaido University, or who have never studied Japanese before, do not need to take a placement test)
