Established in FY 2024, the Hokkaido University Global Public Relations (PR) Ambassador Program (HUPRA) is designed to enhance Hokkaido University’s global recognition, support recruitment efforts, and strengthen its international community. Through this program, the University appoints Hokkaido University Global PR Ambassadors (or simply “Ambassadors”) who help promote the University by utilizing their local and global networks. This program builds on the Hokkaido University Ambassador and Partner System, which was in place from 2016 to 2024.
