This summer, we are offering about 150 courses, ranging from introductory to cutting-edge levels, to participants from around the world. Many courses are open not only to university students but also to working professionals, and some are available online.

2nd Application Period

April 13 (Mon), 2026, 12:00 JST – April 20 (Mon), 2026, 17:00 JST*

• Courses available: All courses starting on or after July 1
• Students and non-students living in Japan can apply for all courses.
• Courses that become full during the first application period will not be available.

3rd Application Period

May 25 (Mon), 2026, 12:00 JST – May 29 (Fri), 2026, 12:00 JST*

• Courses available: All courses starting on or after August 1
• Courses that become full during the first or second application period will not be available.

Hokkaido University students do not need to apply online.

• During the course registration period for each semester or term, simply register for HSI courses in the same way as regular courses.
