Sapporo Together: Designing Sustainable Community Interaction

Join us for the final presentations of Global Advanced Course I, part of Nitobe College’s Honors Program and presented in collaboration with Hokkaido University’s 150th Anniversary Project.

Over the past semester, students have applied systems design thinking to address a challenge identified by the City of Sapporo: promoting sustainable interaction between foreign residents and local communities. In this session, student teams will present their findings and recommendations, offering system-level insights that move beyond individual initiatives to tackle the structural barriers that hinder long-term community connection across language, culture, and institutions.
