2023 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony

The March 2023 Undergraduate Commencement Ceremony will be held in two parts. Please confirm the schedule and venue below.

Date:

March 23 (Thursday) 2023

Part 1

Time:

9:30 am to 10:00 am (Doors open at 9:00 am)
*For graduating students, please be sure to arrive at the venue by 9:15 am.

Participating faculties: Medicine, Dental Medicine, Pharmaceutical Sciences and Pharmacy, Engineering, Veterinary Medicine

Venue:

Gymnasium Ⅰ, Hokkaido University (Kita 17, Nishi 7, Kita-ku, Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan)
*Please enter with your shoes on.

Part 2

Time:

11:40 am to 12:10 pm (Doors open at 11:10 am)
*For graduating students, please be sure to arrive at the venue by 11:25 am.

Participating faculties:

Letters, Education, Law, Economics and Business, Science, Agriculture, Modern Japanese Studies Program

Notes

  • Wearing mask is NOT mandatory required for the attendance of the ceremony.

Notification of prevention major for infection (wearing mask) in the Degree Conferment Ceremony

  • Please take your temperature at home on the day, and do not come to the venue if you have a fever of 37.5℃ or higher or if you are feeling unwell.
  • In order to prevent the infection of COVID-19, family and friend of the above participants should not be allowed to enter the ceremony.
  • The commencement ceremony will be broadcast over the internet.
