[HU Waiver System] AY2026 First Semester Entrance Fee Waiver (Deferment) and Tuition Fee Waiver
The University offers the AY2026 First Semester Entrance Fee Waiver (Deferment) and Tuition Fee Waiver as follows: Please carefully read the “Application Guideline” accessible through the University website or Unire before submitting your application.
Notes:
- The requirements and application procedures for the HU waiver system are regularly reviewed. Please refer to the latest Application Guideline when submitting your application.
- The University offers a full tuition fee waiver for JSPS Research Fellows (DC1, DC2). No separate application for the tuition fee waiver is required. Notification of waiver results will be provided each semester.
1. Waiver (Deferment) Categories and Eligible Students
① Entrance Fee Waiver (Deferment), or Deferment Only
Eligible students: New Graduate Students and New International Undergraduate Students
② Tuition Fee Waiver
Eligible students: Both Graduate and Undergraduate Students
Note: Since the eligibility criteria vary by student category, please refer to the “Application Guideline” for further information.
2. Application Period
New students: The date specified by each school or graduate school (kenkyu-ka)
Current students: Monday, March 9 – Friday, April 10, 2026, by 5:00 PM
Note: If you are unable to submit all required documents within the period stated above, or if any additions or corrections to the application forms become necessary after submission, please submit the additional materials by 5:00 PM on Friday, April 17, 2026.
