Ainu Food Fair “Ipean Rok!” at the Hokkaido University Co-op

The Office of Ainu Relations and Initiatives and the Hokkaido University Co-op are jointly holding a fair featuring four Ainu dishes at the Co-op cafeteria from July 16 (Tue) to July 19 (Fri), 2024.

The name of the project, “Ipean Rok!” means “Let’s eat!” in the Ishikari Ainu Dialect. “Ipean Rok!” fosters the appreciation and understanding of Ainu culture on campus.
