Handling of Personal Information and Email Addresses

1. Who is handling my information?
   Information submitted to us is managed by Hokkaido University’s Division of Public Relations.
2. How is my information being handled?
   We take your privacy very seriously. Your information is properly handled and managed based on the university’s rules and regulations which follow those set by the Japanese government.
3. For what purpose?
   Your email address will be used to keep you up to date with the latest events and happenings of the university via our E-Newsletter, the Hokkaido University Times.

You may change or delete your email address from our database at any time either through MailChimp®, the third-party mailing service used to distribute the E-Newsletter, or by emailing us at pr[at]oia.hokudai.ac.jp.
